British company Integral Memory with 512GB microSD card, the biggest micro SD card so far
British company Integral Memory has unveiled the world’s first 512GB microSD card. A 512GB microSD card was unveiled as far back as mid-2015, but that never came to market. Integral Memory promises that the new 512GB card will arrive in the month of February. The new card meets the Video Speed Class 10 (V10) standard, which allows fast data transfer and also enables to capture full HD video on devices faster and more reliable. The new 512GB microSD card is also classified as an SDXC UHS-I U1 card , which means it has a minimum write speed of 10MB/s)
Earlier SanDisk’s 400GB card held the record of biggest storage provided in an SD card. However, Integral Memory’s new card can only provide top transfer speeds of 80MB/s compared to SanDisk’s 100MB/s.
The price of the card was not given yet, but it’s almost likely to be expensive when it launches in February. The first 400GB micro SD card made its debut at $250 and is still carries its price.
