Sri Lankan civil servants visit Technopark, as part of a two-week capacity building programme in India

Sri Lankan civil servants  visit Technopark, as part of a  two-week capacity building programme in India

Mr.Susim Mukul Datta , Chairman, Court of Governors, Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), launched a two-week Capacity Building Programme on Performance Management & Leadership Development for senior civil servants from Sri Lanka at  Hyderabad

24 Sri Lankan officials came to India to take part in the Programme, being organized in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) and in partnership with the Institute of Management in Government, Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala. The Commonwealth Secretariat, London, is extending technical and financial support to the Programme.

As part of the program, the team was in Trivandrum with the Institute of Management in Government.  In order to understand the initiatives of the Govt of Kerala in creating most modern IT infrastructure and support for developing an vibrant IT industry in the State, the delegation visited Technopark.  Mr M Vasudevan, Senior Manager (BD), made a detailed presentation to the delegation and did a campus tour.

The 24 Sri Lankan participants include, Mr.MCL Rodrigo, Secretary, Ministry of Health, Western Province, Mr.MABD Senarath, Additional Surveyor General, Mr.KPBV Silva, Additional Secretary, Ministry of National Heritage, Mr.NHM Chithrananda, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mrs.A Sriyani Pamalatha, Deputy Chief Secretary, Provisional Council of Sabarangamuva.
