Neem Solutions, a technology service provider company that had a humble start, today has emerged as a business software products company in the Middle East market catering to SMEs in the region through their innovative product portfolio. The entrepreneurial quest by a bunch of IT professionals paved the way to the beginnings of our company in the form of a start-up technology service providing company in 2002. We made the initial steps by catering to a range of business houses with business software solutions related to their billing and invoicing. We also provided various Internet application services during this initial phase.
We began our journey with one billing product and today have grown to 14 packaged software applications catering to the UAE and Qatar markets. We have our development centre in Kochi and we are creating job opportunities for talented youth of Kerala.
Having started as a start up from Kerala, how did you foray into the Middle East SME sector?
It was in 2006 that we emerged as a company with a standalone business software product called ‘Business Manager’ for SMEs. We introduced this product in the Middle East and the quality of the product and its eye to the needs of our clients got us a string of satisfied customers across UAE.
This paved way to take steady steps in the Business Software scenario. The focused requirements of our clients helped us to develop and cater a diverse range of software products suitable for a range of business domains.
Tells us about the company’s offerings?
We have focused our business to cater to the day to day business requirements of a company across any segment. So we had developed products like ‘Autogarage Pro’ for Garage Operations; ‘Rent a Car’; ‘Cash Wallet’ for petty cash management; ‘Happy Laundry’ solution for laundry management; Business pro for day-to-day business management; Payroll Assistant to control payroll process; Spa Pro for total management of spas or saloons; and Document Archiving Systems initially. This gave us enough goodwill and confidence to expand our product range to fourteen standalone business software solutions and a satisfied range of more than a thousand customers in U.A.E. We feel our success has been our capability to convert business logic presented by our customers into business solutions with our expertise over technology.
Today we have niche products like POS systems for Abaya showrooms which have helped us to reach out to new geographical areas like Qatar. In all this, we have ensured to keep the pricing suitable to the SME segment which has helped in total customer satisfaction.
We also have a web portal which offers building one’s e-Commerce website instantly called www.zon.ae. We have also created more than 800 websites for our clients and the entire production has been managed from our Indian development centre.
With latest technology advancements, have you developed products in the new technology areas?
Nowadays we offer cloud-based business solutions which help the customers to manage their businesses remotely. One of our latest products based on the cloud is ‘Tenancy Master’. Tenancy Master is a product to manage tenant information and building leasing information.
Do you outsource work or projects to other companies?
We are sourcing projects to developer companies (Start-ups) in Kerala, Bangalore and Delhi. As we plays a role of Job Creator we grand small and medium size projects direct from client to the developers. We ensure them a steady stream of projects if the quality is assured. We welcome new startups who look for projects can easily get in touch with us and after an evaluation of their level of commitment we can source out projects to them.
How do you motivate your employees?
We facilitate work at home and skilled housewives schemes to ensure smooth production of applications. We have a dedicated team of professionals and it is with their dedication that we have been able to achieve our success so far. Therefore it is imperative for us as an organisation to ensure their satisfaction to deliver the best services to our clients.
